Organisations in Wrexham are being invited to apply for grants as part of the latest phase of the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) programme.
Applications for £2k and £49,999 are being invited across two SPF priority areas, including…
Communities and Place
Grants for projects that strengthen local pride (including events and activities), support local facilities and open spaces, and improve community safety.
People and Skills
Grants for projects and activities that help adults improve their maths, employment and IT skills.
Applications will open from midday on Monday, May 19 for organisations, groups and businesses across Wrexham County Borough. The deadline for applications is Monday, June 9.
Councillor Mark Pritchard, Leader of Wrexham Council, said: “We want local groups and organisations to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity by applying for a grant.
“If you’re working on a project that will help increase local pride and life opportunities in the county borough, please take a look at the council’s website because this could be a chance to secure funding you need.
“Local businesses are also encouraged to make the most of this opportunity…we want to help them grow as supporting local employers is hugely important and we don’t want anyone to miss out.”
