“Is my child eligible for school transport?”“Don’t want to apply online?”

Late applications will be accepted but it’s really helpful for us to arrange buses if we know in plenty of time how many pupils we need to provide transport for.

You can apply online using the links on this page. It’s really quick and convenient to do.

APPLY ONLINE FOR SCHOOL TRANSPORT IN SEPTEMBER NOW!

Applications will stay open until March 31 for the new term in September. We’ll let you know if you’ve been successful by July 31.

“Is my child eligible for school transport?”

We’ll provide free transport to pupils attending their nearest suitable school when the walking distance is more than 2 miles for primary pupils or 3 miles for secondary pupils. If you’re uncertain if you’re eligible to apply you can read more here.

“Don’t want to apply online?”

You can still apply for school transport by either downloading the form from our website here (http://www.wrexham.gov.uk/english/education/Transport_Policy.htm) or you can call into the Contact Centre on Lord Street in the town centre or ring them on 01978 292000.
