We’ve had reports that residents are receiving emails saying their Direct Debit for their TV Licence has been declined and to get in touch.
There’s only a few errors in it such as missing spaces but overall it looks good and very official and could fool a lot of people so beware!

It gives you the option to “Update TV Licensing Now”
Don’t click! It takes you to a very credible site but it’s a scam – it’s after your money or personal details or both!
It also offers you the opportunity to pay online now and/or to change your personal details:
Again don’t click either. It’s just another way to try and get your money and/or personal details.
If you do receive this or any similar email please take advice from the real TV Licensing people at https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/faqs/FAQ288 or simply delete it but don’t forget to tell family and friends about the scam.
