Minera Lead Mines and Country Park gives a fascinating insight into the history of the beautiful Clywedog Valley.

With stunning scenery all around, it’s well worth a visit!

It’s a great starting point for the Clywedog Valley Trail, but with 53 acres of grassland, wooded areas and archaeological sites, walkers have many options to choose from.

Here’s a short video of a walk starting at Minera Lead Mines, travelling through the country park, and finishing at Minera Quarry.

We have to make even more cuts…and ask taxpayers for more money. But before we do anything, we want to know what you think.
