Artists have had a difficult time this year but that hasn’t stopped their creativity from being shown and over 350 artists submitted works for Tŷ Pawb’s Open exhibition.

The theme was ‘creativity during lockdown’ and the response was inspiring, demonstrating the invention and resilience shown by artists from across Wrexham, Wales and the United Kingdom.

The People’s Prize

There’s also a fourth very special category – “The People’s Prize” where anyone who has seen the exhibition can vote for their favourite piece. With the galleries closed most people viewed the exhibition virtually and over 2,000 went online to see what was on show.

The winner will be announced along with winners in other categories at the end of the exhibition. Tŷ Pawb will be hosting a live virtual prize-giving event on Friday 5th March at 6pm.

Voting ends 9am on Thursday 4th March and you can use this link to vote for your favourite piece https://bit.ly/3qCiDuH

If you haven’t seen the exhibition yet you can still do so online here: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=esbL6AfoTSg and treat yourself to a fully interactive virtual tour.
