Head of Service – Corporate Parenting
We’re looking for someone who can make a real difference to children’s lives – overseeing services like adoption and fostering, and making sure that children and care-leavers who are looked-after by the council get the right support and opportunities.
This is a senior role, responsible for around 85 employees and a budget of £10.8 million.
So we need someone with plenty of leadership experience, and a sound grasp of performance and budget-management.

Head of Service / Responsible Individual – Provider Services
We’re also looking for someone to manage the growth of our in-house adults and children’s social care provider services – overseeing the quality of care and support we provide.
They’ll have a broad knowledge of social care legislation, along with experience in leading social care services…and managing a large and diverse work-force together with a budget of £11.6 million
