Wrexham ‘building on the success’ of hosting the National Eisteddfod
“Tŷ Pawb is committed to supporting the objectives of Wrexham Council’s Welsh Language strategy: increasing the number of Welsh speakers in the county borough, facilitating, increasing and promoting the use of the Welsh language in the County Borough, giving residents the opportunity to live their lives through the medium of Welsh if they so wish and creating a better understanding of the Welsh language and Welsh culture among residents who do not speak Welsh.
“We have continued to build on the huge success of the National Eisteddfod last year, working with local and national language organizations to create a legacy for Wrexham.
“As well as being a great, free day out for families, we would especially like to invite anyone who would like to learn more about Welsh language education and services available for children and adults. There has never been a better time to learn the language and discover the rich heritage and culture of Wales. This event will be an ideal opportunity to do so in a welcoming, family-friendly setting with great activities and great live music to enjoy.”
