Grass cutting and cyclic maintenance works along the A483 are scheduled to begin next month.
The works will be carried out by The North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency in collaboration with Wrexham Council.
Works are due to start on Sunday 5 July and are expected to run for approximately four weeks.
The maintenance forms part of the regular cyclic works programme for trunk roads in the area. Similar works on the A5 are also due to begin during the week commencing 29 June.
Councillor David A Bithell, Deputy Leader of the Council and Lead Member for Environmental Services said, “I know that grass cutting along the A483 is an issue that residents and road users raise regularly, so I’m pleased to confirm that cyclic maintenance works are scheduled to begin on Sunday 5 July.”
“These works are important to help maintain visibility, support road safety and keep the corridor in good condition for those travelling through Wrexham.”
“The A483 is a key route for the area, and we will continue to work with the North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency to make sure regular maintenance is carried out.”
Motorists are asked to take care when travelling through any areas where maintenance teams are working and to follow any temporary traffic management in place.
