Run by Kayleigh, the business focuses on thoughtful, high-quality work with a personal touch — from everyday repairs and hems to custom handmade items and personalised designs. Olive Ivy & Wool combines practical sewing services with creativity, aiming to make alterations and handmade work feel approachable, modern and full of character.

Established in 1946 Esme’s produces and sells babies and childrenswear for special occasions. We also sell casualwear from premature baby right through to teens. We take pride on showcasing local, handmade craftsmanship and a huge array of Welsh products served by business owner Janette with specialist knowledge, personal service and a wonderful friendly smile.

The Wrexham Bookworm is an independent bookstore that offers a wide selection of diverse books for all ages. We prioritise the community by keeping our prices lower than chain bookshops and centering local authors and creatives!
We also have upcoming events such as our monthly book clubs, where we all come together to enjoy a good book, some tea and each other’s company.

My business “Mad4Movies” is 20 years old this year!
After initially starting off as a shop that just sold/exchanged DVDs and VHS tapes, I have since branched out into other formats as well as music cds, puzzle magazines and books.
I have a loyal bunch of customers who regularly pop in to see whats in store as I have new stock in every day. I have over 5,000 movies in the shop alone. I am also seeing a bit of a resurgence in the popularity of phyical media with younger people particularly interested in “collecting”. I suppose its a bit “retro” now!
The shop has also featured on the Disney television show “Welcome to Wrexham”, and both Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have visited.
