High Street Ruabon to close for Gas Main Repairs
SHARE

If you’re travelling along High Street in Ruabon over the coming weeks you may be delayed and have to take a different route due to gas main repair works taking place by Wales and West Utilities.

The works will start on August 13.

The works cross the junctions of both park Street and Church Street and will take 3 weeks to complete.

This work will mean High Street will be closed from its junction with Park Street through to its junction with Maelor Place. Traffic will be able to turn right in to Park Street as they approach the junction from Ruabon Station, but all other manoeuvres at Park Street and Church Street will not be allowed.

Access will be maintained to all properties during the closure, which will be in place for 3-weeks, however this may be via those signed diversions utilising the A483, New Hall Lane, Tatham Road and B5605 Ruabon Road.

Diversions will be in place for the duration of the works.

Bus operators who run services through Ruabon have been informed of these works and will endeavour to minimise the impact to their services, but unfortunately some disruption will be experienced.
