Wrexham’s libraries present…Mischief Makers!

2018 is the 80th anniversary of the Beano! And to celebrate, it is also the theme for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.

At any of our libraries, children will explore a map of Beanotown to find the mysterious buried treasure and become the ultimate mischief makers! Dennis, Gnasher and friends will help them solve clues and collect stickers, having lots of fun and adventures along the way!

SPOTTED FLY TIPPING? REPORT IT QUICKLY AND EASILY HERE.

Last year, 761,758 children took part in the challenge. It is open to children between 4 and 11 years old and asks them to visit the library three times and to read six books in total over the whole holiday.

This year’s challenge has already started! So…get to your local library to sign your child up and receive their pack. They will then receive stickers each time they visit and a medal and certificate at the end!
