A special page has been set up which allows pupils and parents to access valuable Welsh-medium resources, so they can continue to practice Welsh language skills from home during these challenging times.

The ‘Cymraeg: Cymorth i Addysgu yn y Cartref / Home-educating Ideas and Support’ Facebook page was launched by our Wrexham Welsh Latecomers Service recently, which signposts and links individuals with various up-to-date, inspiring and fun resources.

On the page, Eleri Vaughan Roberts, Welsh Latecomers Co-Ordinator (Primary) at Wrexham Council, wrote: “This page has been created in order to share resources and ideas on how to continue to support your child in Welsh over the coming months.

“The page is primarily designed for latecomers to Welsh medium education or those who need extra linguistic support in Welsh, however much of what I share will be useful for any parent/carer that send their child to a Welsh medium primary school.”
