The vast majority of you did that and we’d like to say thank you to each and every one of you.

As we enter another week of staying at home except for essential journeys or local exercise it’s important that we continue to follow the stay at home advice in order to protect the NHS and ultimately save lives.

Please don’t light bonfires

We’re supporting our colleagues in North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and asking you not to have any bonfires.

Read the blog article we posted previously.

Look out for scams

During these difficult times, unscrupulous criminals are exploiting our fears about Covid-19 and preying on members of the public – particularly older and vulnerable people.

Our Trading Standards officers are supporting National Trading Standards as they warn people to remain vigilant.

Read the blog article we posted earlier this week.

Reminder – can you help as a volunteer?

You can register as a potential volunteer to help staff delivering front-line services and to support community befriending.

AVOW (Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham) is encouraging people to sign-up.

Reminder – reliable sources of information about Covid-19

Latest information on the virus and what people should do about it is provided by:

  • Daily TV statements by the Government (including by Government ministers).
  • Daily official briefings from the Department of Health and Social Care at 2pm, and Public Health Wales at 3pm.

This is a rapidly changing situation, so we will issue further information as and when appropriate.
