This year, the Armed Forces Community Carol Service returns and is only 5 weeks away!
This annual, free event will take place at St Giles Church on Thursday, December 3 starting at 7pm, and everyone is welcome.
Councillor Beverley Parry Jones, Wrexham Council’s Armed Forces Champion, said: “Once again, Wrexham is promised a wonderful evening full of Christmas spirit and music. Wrexham has such strong links with the armed forces, and this is a special way to celebrate Christmas and pay tribute. Let’s both kick start the festive season and show our support for those who serve and have served.
“We’d love to see as many veterans and members of the public as possible so please come along and help make this a fantastic evening.”
Highlights of the event include:
- Music from The Royal Marines Association Brass Ensemble
- A parade of standards by local veterans’ associations
Once again this special evening will be held in support of Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity dedicated to bereaved British Forces children and young people. It promises to be a heartwarming celebration of community, remembrance, and festive spirit.
