There was a fire at the FCC waste recycling plant at Bryn Lane this morning (Tuesday, July 1).
We’re pleased to say that no one was hurt, but it does mean we haven’t been able to empty our bin wagons as usual, which has put us behind on today’s bin collections.
This is likely to have a knock-on effect for the next few days, as we try to catch up on our rounds.
Please put your bins / recycling out on your normal collection day, but if they’re not collected, please leave them out and we’ll try to get to you later in the week. Apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
