Freedom Leisure in Wrexham who operate 9 leisure centres including Waterworld, Gwyn Evans, Chirk and Queensway will throw open its doors on Wednesday 21st September to offer free activities for everyone to try as part of National Fitness Day 2022 – which is set to be the UK’s most active day of the year.
Freedom Leisure in Wrexham are offering residents a 4 day FREE pass to take advantage of their fantastic facilities. National Fitness Day is the UK’s most active day of the year – in 2021 more than 22 million people were inspired to be active on the day. This year the campaign will continue to encourage people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to come together to recognise the importance of prioritising being active for our mental wellbeing as well as physical health.
Using the theme Fitness Unites Us, campaign organisers ukactive are encouraging fitness, sport and leisure providers across the UK to demonstrate the inclusive power of physical activity in bringing people from all walks of life together, in every community.
