WCD Young Carers and NEWCIS held a joint event during half term week for unpaid carers of all ages to come together, learn from each other’s experiences and have some fun.

Active Wrexham joined the event, bringing along large inflatable games which were enjoyed by the attendees, along with a silent disco and a walk around Tŷ Mawr Country Park.

One of the young carers said: “The event was fantastic, it was great to get together and have some fun. It was really nice that the whole family could enjoy the event. I loved the silent disco!!”
